I grew up in Indiana, graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in marketing and worked several years at a catalog company before starting a family.  We moved to Seattle in 2001 from Wisconsin, and even though I miss the friendly vibe of the mid-west, the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest is hard to beat. 

I began working at Acupuncture for Pregnancy in the fall of 2015, however, I actually met Patrice many years ago, when I sought treatment from her for tennis elbow.  Acupuncture was new to me, and I was, and continue to be intrigued by how our bodies can respond to treatment modalities outside of Western medicine.  It has been a pleasure reconnecting with Patrice and being part of such a warm and loving practice.

 My organizational skills and attention to detail allow me to handle what most patients and providers dread - working with insurance companies.  I actually enjoy advocating for our patients and working with their insurance companies to make sure they are receiving the benefits their premiums cover.  One of the best parts of my job though is seeing or hearing about a patient’s relief right after their acupuncture treatment.  It’s a constant reminder to me how important it is to tend to our bodies.          

Outside of work, I love to row, play tennis, read and spend time traveling and creating memories with my husband and three children.
